At the Psi Chi Induction Ceremony on March 28th, 2019, one of our lab members was inducted, while another one received a scholarship. Congratulations to our wonderful lab members!
On April 9th, 2019, members of the Reactivity Lab participated in the Anti-Violence Initiatives’ “Day to End Rape Culture”. Topics presented on included “slut shaming” and “dress codes”.
On a sunny Monday afternoon, the Reactivity Lab moved its weekly meeting outside. Following a guided meditation session, led by Harish Rajagopal, the lab held a constructive writing workshop.

Savanna’s abstract was accepted for a poster presentation at the 23rd International Summit on Violence, Abuse & Trauma Across the Lifespan in San Diego, CA
Emma Young, Shira Pollack, and Alvin Tran had posters accepted for presentation at the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies’s 52nd Annual Convention, which is to be held November 15 – 18, 2018 in Washington, D.C. Emma’s poster is titled “Coping Moderates Emotional Reactivity to Daily Events During College”. Shira’s poster is titled “The Relationship between Daily Mood and Procrastination in Liberal Arts College Students”. Alvin’s poster is titled “Mindfulness Moderates the Relationship between Perceived Stress and Depressive Symptoms in College Students “.
On Wednesday, March 28th, several members of the Reactivity Lab were inducted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, while some were elected to another term on the honor society’s Executive Board.
