Lab Olympics

This morning, our lab took part in the Psychology Department’s annual Lab Olympics, hosted by Dr. Martinetti’s Alcohol Lab. We competed in challenges such as building a spaghetti tower, mummifying Dr. Herres with toilet paper, and trivia, and ultimately, we won third place!

Thanks to the Alcohol Lab for a fun morning, and congrats to Dr. Dahling’s Organizational Psychology Lab for winning first place, as well as Dr. Leynes’ ERP Lab for winning second!

Reactivity Takeover!

TCNJ’s Chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, recently put up a bulletin board featuring the new members of their executive board, and we were happy to see some familiar faces! Three out of the four board members are also members of the Reactivity Lab, and we’re very proud of them. Good luck in your new positions!

Two of our lab members presented posters and represented our lab at TCNJ’s annual Celebration of Student Achievement on May 3!

Giulietta Flaherty presented her proposal for a study regarding the effect of emotional reactivity on academic achievement.
Emma Young presented about the effect of emotional lability on suicidality in youth with co-occurring externalizing problems.

Congratulations to Giuli and Emma!
