Poster Accepted to EPA

Giuli and Emma had a poster accepted for presentation at the Eastern Psychological Association titled “The Contribution of Externalizing Behaviors on Parental Attachment and Academic Achievement”! The poster will be presented at their March conference in Philadelphia; our lab members will be presenting on Friday, March 2, from 3:30pm to 4:50pm.

Celebration of Student Achievement

On Wednesday, December 6, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences held the Celebration of Student Achievement, and several of our lab members presented their projects. Shira, Savanna, Kelly, and Shreya presented their individual projects as part of a panel, which was moderated by Tanushi. Alvin and Anthony presented their poster, titled “Does mindfulness moderate the relationship between perceived stress and emotional reactivity in college students?”

Kelly’s poster got accepted!

Our very own Kelly Bobchin’s poster was accepted to the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies conference! Kelly will be traveling to Chicago, IL this November to present her poster, titled “A Socioecological Model of Risk Associated with Campus Sexual Assault in a Representative Sample of Liberal Arts College Students.” Congrats, Kelly, and good luck!

Lab Olympics

This morning, our lab took part in the Psychology Department’s annual Lab Olympics, hosted by Dr. Martinetti’s Alcohol Lab. We competed in challenges such as building a spaghetti tower, mummifying Dr. Herres with toilet paper, and trivia, and ultimately, we won third place!

Thanks to the Alcohol Lab for a fun morning, and congrats to Dr. Dahling’s Organizational Psychology Lab for winning first place, as well as Dr. Leynes’ ERP Lab for winning second!

Reactivity Takeover!

TCNJ’s Chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, recently put up a bulletin board featuring the new members of their executive board, and we were happy to see some familiar faces! Three out of the four board members are also members of the Reactivity Lab, and we’re very proud of them. Good luck in your new positions!
